We invite you to an unforgettable culinary experience. Through the intimate setting of the Cookery School, you’ll taste and discover the magic that goes into a gourmet menu.

You’ll enjoy a delicious five-course menu, cooked in front of you by our Cookery School Tutor Chef. Offering a wealth of experience gathered around the world, bringing the experience to life with a vast array of skills and anecdotes to satisfy anyone with a love of food and cooking.

Most dishes featuring ingredients grown in the neighbouring walled garden (where possible and seasonal) and ingredients sourced from the wider 20,000-acre Estate, including venison, grouse and trout.

A Chef’s Table offers a unique dining experience that allows you to share the kitchen’s secret tips and techniques, before being served ‘at the pass’.

Your evening

Your evening will begin at Swinton Park, where a champagne and canapés reception will await in the opulent Morning Room. Your chef for the evening will be on hand to whet your appetite!

After you’ve enjoyed the reception, you’ll be led to the Swinton Cookery School where your chef will cook a delicious meal. They’ll talk you through each course as they cook, answering any questions you might have.

A dedicated waiter will guide you through the perfect wine pairings to complement each course.

Swinton Cookery School is a relaxed, open demonstration kitchen housed in a converted Georgian stable wing adjacent to Swinton Park hotel.

From classic baking and Sunday roasts to Sushi and Thai, there’s a cookery course to suit everyone. So if you are beginner with a keen interest or a professional, broadening their knowledge, join us at Swinton and fall in love with cooking all over again.
