Swinton Park's fine dining restaurant menus emphasise seasonal and local produce inspired by the fruit, vegetables and herbs grown in the hotel’s four acre walled garden (the largest hotel kitchen garden in the UK). The Head Chef creates stunning dishes with refined, innovative modern cooking that skillfully and respectfully use the garden produce. Please note: Samuel's is currently open Thursday-Sunday every week for residents.

Located within the Swinton Country Club & Spa, The Terrace's seasonal estate to plate menu is defined by the fruit, herbs and vegetables grown in the neighbouring walled garden, prepared by a talented team of chefs in the showcase kitchen. An AA Rosette restaurant with a stunning small plate collection, ideal for sharing, combines the best of Swinton produce with globally inspired flavours. The Terrace is open Monday to Sunday and has a relaxed and casual dress code. Please note: The Terrace restaurant is open seven days a week.

Join celebrated gardener Dame Susan Cunliffe-Lister for a two course lunch, garden talk over coffee and a guided tour of the grounds. Each lunch is themed on a different topic, whether it be on the parkland and lakes, or the walled garden. Susan will give an insight into her gardening style, and guests will be given a tour up to the parkland to view the daffodils or rhododendrons and azaleas. The menus for garden lunches will include several ingredients from the garden, with recipe cards from our chef. Susan will explain her choice of produce, with tips for cultivation and harvesting. Our Swinton Picnics are the ideal way to visit one of our special spots on the Estate with the family to enjoy an al fresco meal in beautiful surroundings.
Following the Government announcement on the 4th of January 2021 we will be closing our doors across the Estate: Swinton Park Hotel, Swinton Country Club & Spa, Swinton Bivouac, Swinton Cookery School, and The Terrace Restaurant & Bar will be closed until further notice and pending the next Covid review.
