Check out what's on at Swinton Bivouac
Whatever the weather there's an adventure to be had in the woods at the Bivouac Plantation. Pick up the trail leaflet at the Swinton Bivouac car park hut, and follow the clues that take you around the woodland walk. Aimed at the pre-school and early years age group, this will keep them occupied all the way round.
Help us find out how many owls we have on Swinton Estate, as numbers are falling and nationally there is very little data on where they are. You can help by telling us if you see or hear an owl and your detection will help us to protect them.
Ask at Bivouac reception, Swinton Park or at the Estate Shop (at the Country Club & Spa) for a postcard to fill in together then hand back to reception when complete or just post it into your nearest postbox.
The cafe lies at the heart of the site and is perfect for families.
With uncomplicated dishes and snacks made from local produce, feel free to pop in for coffee and cake, a light lunch, or make an evening of it and enjoy a delicious meal in a rustic setting.
With plenty of outdoor activities to keep the little ones entertained! Such as clay-pigeon shooting at E.J Churchill's, cycling, walking, pony trekking, falconry and more...
