As Swinton Bivouac doesn’t hold a licence for weddings, some couples choose to hold the legal ceremony at Swinton Park Castle, just three miles down the road, before heading to Swinton Bivouac for a Woodland Wedding with a perfect backdrop and setting to exchange personal promises in a unique wedding ceremony.

Swinton Park is a luxury castle hotel and ancestral stately home set within 200 acres of parkland and gardens. There’s a variety of public licenced rooms which are available for your wedding ceremony,  each furnished with antiques and family portraits, giving the castle the warmth and grandeur of a traditional English home.
