From exclusive use of Swinton Park in its entirety for a private house party; through to the contemporary chic of the Deer House and intimate setting of the beautiful Private Dining Room. With landing space for numerous helicopters and easy access to both road and rail networks, Swinton Park is the perfect Yorkshire venue.

Swinton House Party

Full, exclusive use of Swinton Park Hotel. On arrival at the portico, you and your guests have full use of Swinton’s magnificent rooms, our 42 bedrooms, dining to accommodate up to 100 guests in Samuel’s Restaurant and The Terrace Restaurant and Bar, Country Club, and grounds for a private house part, celebration or business retreat. Our nearby cottages can also provide extra accommodation and facilities.

Private Dining Room

Our beautiful Private Dining Room sits close to the fine dining experience of Samuel’s Restaurant. With floor to ceiling Georgian windows, the room is flooded with light. For an intimate evening, candles lit, the room is shrouded in opulence.

The Library

With floor to ceiling Georgian windows, majestic ceilings, understated grandeur and unspoilt views of the deer park and lawns, The Library is a truly beautiful space.

Perfect for weddings, receptions, conferences, large family get-togethers, parties and everything in between.

The Arnagill

The Arnagill Room is situated next to the Terrace Restaurant and Bar. A gorgeously contemporary space perfect for a private drinks party, birthday lunch, supper or children’s get-together, with menus from the Terrace.

Private Sitting Room

The Private Sitting Room is a beautiful, stately space with open log fire, opulent sofa and furnishings. With views over the deer park, it’s perfect for small receptions, private parties or afternoon teas.

Samuel’s Restaurant

Built by Samuel Lister in 1880, (where the Samuel’s name comes from) this magnificent room with gold leafed ceiling and cornices, wooden floor, open log fire and incredible views over the deer park, Samuel’s is quite the venue.

An opulent space for large family occasions, or celebratory suppers.

The Deer House

The Deer House is a unique, rural venue set on the Swinton Estate in the heart of North Yorkshire. A wonderful setting for a Deer House wedding, rural family get-together or a motivational location for corporate away day.

Lake House

The Island and Lake House on Top Lake is a retreat like no other. Where else can you arrive at your private island by hand ferry?

This is the perfect spot for an exclusive celebration, secluded meeting or private event. Take a hand-drawn cable ferry across to your own private kingdom, complete with a miniature Georgian-style summerhouse.

Drawing Room

A beautiful Georgian room, designed by John Carr of York in 1765. Opulence abounds in the Drawing Room with portraiture and fine antique furniture. The Drawing Room is perfect to enjoy a traditional Afternoon Tea.

Panelled Room

A beautifully elegant room suited to small business meetings, situated in Swinton Park Hotel. The Panelled Room affords stunning views across the front lawn, with a beautifully light and airy feel. The Panelled Room can accommodate up to 24 guests.
