Explore the Walled Garden at Swinton Park, a four-acre working kitchen garden growing substantial quantities of fruits, herbs and vegetables (over 60 varieties) as the seasons dictate.
The Walled Garden is a hive of activity at certain times of the growing calendar and you’ll visit with our Chef Tutor to collect ingredients for the day.
Using organic principles, many innovative methods are used to ensure that any insecticides are kept to an absolute minimum.
You will create a range of different meals and accompaniments, stopping only to enjoy the fruits of your labour.
We always encourage a hands on approach within the classes with all ingredients and equipment provided for.
This course will be led by produce from the garden that is in season and available at the time.
