Learn to cook with your child
This unique cookery course is designed to let your children take over the reigns! Together you’ll cook easy recipes that are tailored for little ones, whether they’ve had previous experience in the kitchen or it’s their very first time.
Each dish that you learn is simple to replicate at home, so your child can re-create them for family and friends.
The classes take place in our stunning country kitchen with breathtaking views of Swinton Estate Grounds and Yorkshire Dales.
We always encourage a hands-on approach within the classes and all ingredients and equipment will be provided.

FAQs
Most half-day cookery courses start at 10:00am and finish around 1:30pm. Full-day courses start at at 10:00am and finish around 3:00pm. Please arrive at the Swinton Park Hotel reception for tea and coffee served from 9:30am.
For children's courses, Mini Chefs takes place between 10:00am and 3:00pm. The Junior chefs course is between 2:00pm and 4:30pm.
During half-day and full-day courses, lunch will be served consisting of dishes you've prepared during the event. Should you have any special dietary requirements or allergies please let us know so that we can ensure these are accommodated.
All required ingredients and equipment will be provided as part of your course. You don't need to bring anything extra - just yourself.
Yes! When you finish the course, you'll receive a copy of all the recipes you learned to use at home.
