Seasonal fine dining

Fine dining at its best at Swinton Park Hotel. The spectacular elegance of the decor is complimented by our seamless levels of service, exquisite wine selection and a seasonal menu that combines the finest locally sourced ingredients.

Executive Chef Ruth Hansom creates stunning dishes with refined, innovative modern cooking that skilfully and respectfully use the garden produce.

Samuel’s is renowned for providing some of the best Estate to Plate fine dining in the north of England. The food on your plate is a reflection of the landscape you can see around you, a sweeping, romantic celebration of what Swinton Estate and Yorkshire at large have always had in spades: a rich, deep connection to the land and a quiet, unshowy confidence in the produce which that land gives up.

A spacious and airy room with sweeping views over the gardens and home lake, the most distinctive features in Samuel’s are the ornate gold leaf ceiling and enormous mantelpiece.

We strongly recommend that guests reserve tables in advance.

Estate produce

Closer to the Hotel, Terrace restaurant, Estate Shop and Spa is the four acre walled garden. This is a working kitchen garden, that grows huge quantities of fruit, herbs and vegetables (over 60 varieties) along with a cutting garden that grows flowers for the Hotel and Estate Shop in the summer months.

This is a hive of activity, and you will often see chefs wandering into the garden to collect ingredients for the day.
