Plant Based – Half Day

This course aims to add exciting, new, flavoursome dishes to your repertoire, whilst following a vegan diet.

Chef tutor Luke will guide you through the preparation and cooking of great, hearty vegan dishes, using alternative vegan ingredients to create the best tastes. Including soy creams, butters, coconut dairy alternatives and plant-based protein products.

The classes take place in our stunning country kitchen with breathtaking views of Swinton Estate Grounds and Yorkshire Dales.

We always encourage a hands on approach within the classes and all ingredients and equipment will be provided.

Dishes can include:

  • Smokey, stuffed, cheesy portobello mushrooms
  • Vegan steak
  • Chinese style, no beef and broccoli stir fry
  • BBQ Jack Fruit tacos
  • Vegan white chocolate rice pudding
  • Vegan sticky toffee pudding
  • Salted caramel sauce
