Enjoy a full day shooting an exciting range of challenging and varied simulated targets in the heart of Yorkshire.

These days are rapidly growing in popularity as they offer all the fun and excitement of a game day with less expense and can offer great experience for the more inexperienced shots.

You and your guests will be based from E.J. Churchill at the Swinton Estate’s beautiful Shooting Lodge, with the activities taking place in the stunning landscaped grounds and woodland.

Your day can be tailor-made to suit your group’s needs.

FAQs

Can I see a sample itinerary?

9.00am – Arrive at E.J. Churchill shooting ground. Breakfast will be served with tea and coffee. Guests will receive a safety talk followed by a briefing on the day’s events.
9.30am – Pegs are drawn and guns are transported to the first drive. Guests will continue to shoot another two drives during the morning.
12.30pm – Elevenses are served in field.
1.30pm – Guests shoot the fourth drive.
2.30pm – Shooting ends and guests make their way back to Swinton Park Hotel for a delicious lunch at the Deer House.
Guests depart at leisure.

What is Swinton Estate?

Swinton Estate is one of the largest privately owned estates in England, situated in North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales. Comprising 20,000 acres, about two thirds of the land is forestry and farmland, and one third open moorland.
