Great British Game Week 2026

A celebration of Yorkshire game

Great British Game Week returns by popular demand, bringing with it a vibrant celebration of rural life and the people, partnerships, and expertise that shape the character of the Swinton Estate.

At the heart of the week are our specially curated game-led menus, complemented by experiences for both residents and day visitors. While some activities carry an additional charge, others are included for those staying with us.

Discover the full line-up of dining events and experiences as we honour the very best of the Yorkshire countryside.

Dining Events & Cookery Courses

Our Estate to Plate philosophy sits at the heart of our approach to dining and Great British Game Week allows us to showcase the very best produce, much of which is sourced from across the Estate, in all of our outlets.

You may wish to celebrate in style with our Game Week Gala Opening Lunch in Samuel’s Restaurant, or perhaps refine your culinary skills with one of our cookery courses.
For something more relaxed, casual dining is available throughout the week in The Terrace Restaurant & Bar. Alternatively, join Chef Patron, Josh Barnes, at Chef’s Table by Josh Barnes, where you’ll begin with an intimate drinks reception and canapés before indulging in an exceptional eight-course tasting menu.
