Serve up a friendly feast – Italian Style!

From homemade pasta to the classic tiramisu we’ll have you cooking up a storm with your friends asking for the restaurants number.

All of our courses are delivered by our resident master chef. The classes take place in our stunning country kitchen with breathtaking views of Swinton Estate Grounds and Yorkshire Dales.

We always encourage a hands on approach within the classes and all ingredients and equipment will be provided.

Half day recipes may include: focaccia; kale and ricotta Ravioli with Salsa Verde; pea risotto with pan fried seasonal protein; and tiramisu.

Your course may feature

Artisan bread making techniques
Hand shaping of bread for a loaf and pizza
Pasta making from scratch and into different shapes, ravioli and tagliatelle
Making a basic white onion risotto and flavour variations
Techniques required to create a traditional mascarpone cream to be layered in a tiramisu

FAQs

How is the course structured?

Please arrive at the Swinton Park Hotel reception for tea and coffee served from 9:30am.

Most half-day cookery courses start at 10:00am and finish around 1:30pm. Full-day courses start at at 10:00am and finish around 3:00pm.

During half-day and full-day courses, lunch will be served consisting of dishes you've prepared during the event. Should you have any special dietary requirements or allergies please let us know so that we can ensure these are accommodated.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

All required ingredients and equipment will be provided as part of your course. You don't need to bring anything extra - just yourself.

Can I take the recipes home?

Yes! When you finish the course, you'll receive a copy of all the recipes you learned to use at home.
