Make Your Own Wedding Bunting

Create your own wedding decorations

Add a truly personal touch to your wedding celebrations by creating your own handcrafted bunting.

This relaxed and inspiring full-day workshop invites soon-to-be-wed couples to design and make decorative bunting that can be used to style your venue, garden celebration, marquee or reception space.

You are encouraged to bring along meaningful fabrics , perhaps material from a family garment, textile keepsakes, lace from a relative’s wedding dress, or fabric that reflects your colour scheme or story. These special pieces can be incorporated into your bunting to create something beautifully personal.

To help things along, your talented tutor, Betty Brown, will provide plenty of pre-cut, bunting-sized fabric triangles, so even complete beginners can focus on the enjoyable part – designing, embellishing and bringing everything together.

The workshop also includes a two-course meal in the Terrace Restaurant & Bar, along with arrival refreshments.

We’ll also provide a wonderful selection of decorative materials including:

  • Beads
  • Sequins
  • Braid and trim
  • Ribbons
  • Embellishments and decorative details

Whether you’d like a rustic, vintage, colourful or an elegantly understated feel, you’ll be supported to create bunting that reflects your wedding style.

Please note: Participants will need to bring their own sewing machine. As mentioned please do bring any meaningful fabrics along with you that you’d like to incorporate into your bunting.
