Work with willow to create your own beautifully decorative Seedpod Open Lantern.
You will learn about the properties of willow and the basic skills of lantern frame making. First you’ll make the structure, then paint and embellish with raffia. Finally, you’ll decorate your lantern with rose LED fairy lights.
Your completed lantern will be suitable for indoor and (dry) outdoor use. It can add a celebratory, decorative element to your garden during daylight hours, and a striking and attractive illumination after dark. Ideal for those long and light summer evenings.
Treat yourself to a day creating this unique, organic, sculptural lantern suitable for outdoor summer living.
This workshop also includes a two-course meal in the Terrace Restaurant and Bar, along with arrival tea/coffee/biscuits.
