Step into your cowboy boots and saddle up for a night packed with country music, line dancing, and a whole lot of fun – in conjunction with the FortyFive Vinyl Café, York.
Headlining the evening is Wood Burnt Red, hailed as the “UK’s answer to Brothers Osborne” by Elles Bailey of Planet Rock. The four-piece band has already gained more than half a million streams on Apple Music and secured a place on Apple’s sought-after Today’s Country playlist. Their sound fuses the swagger of southern rock with the heart of country – expect fiery guitar work, tight harmonies, and songs that deliver real emotional punch.
Also performing is award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Luke Flear. Known for his gritty, soulful voice and versatile musicianship, Flear moves effortlessly from blistering guitar solos to stripped-back acoustic moments and piano-led ballads. His music blends rock influences with a rich Americana sound that captivates audiences from the first note.
If you fancy learning a few moves, Darren and Jane from Harrogate Dance Centre will be teaching a few fun and easy line dances. No experience required. Easy steps, good music, good fun.
So grab your checked shirts, polish those boots, and join us for a lively night of music, dancing, and classic country atmosphere!
A full bar will be open throughout the evening, and hearty pulled pork buns with sides will be available to buy until 8pm – the perfect fuel for a night on the dance floor.
Limited parking will be available at the Deer House. Additional parking will be in the Swinton Park Hotel guest car park, only a ten-minute walk from the Deer House.
