The Summer Barbecue at Swinton Bivouac brings together relaxed outdoor dining, Yorkshire countryside views, and a laid-back atmosphere during the first weekend of the school holidays.
The evening centres around classic barbecue favourites including juicy burgers and hot dogs, succulent chicken, fresh salads, coleslaw, and all the trimmings, followed by ice-cream sundaes for dessert.
With seating across the Bivouac Café and Tipi, you will be seated at shared tables alongside other parties, adding to the sociable and relaxed atmosphere of the evening. Settle in for a summer evening overlooking the breathtaking landscape surrounding Swinton Bivouac, while live acoustic music and lawn games add to the laid-back feel. The resident goats and chickens are nearby too – why not pay them a visit?

When booking your tickets, please select the timeslot you wish to dine, and reserve as many tickets as there are people dining in your party.

The Bivouac Café is the place for guests and visiting walkers, families and friends.
On warm summer days visitors can sit out on the patio and enjoy a cup of tea or light snack at the Bivouac Café.
For inclement Yorkshire days, the fire keeps the split-floor level in our café, snug for you to enjoy the food while looking down below.
Family pets are of course welcome too.

Terms and Conditions
Booking slots are being requested to help us prepare for your visit. Event tickets are only valid on the date specified. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to an alternative activity. Ticket cannot be exchanged for cash and no change can be given. Please present your ticket upon arrival for your experience. We reserve the right to withdraw this experience if insufficient bookings are made. We can only accept cancellations via email. If you need to cancel, please email marketing@swintonestate.com no later than 48 hours before the reserved time.
