MICHELIN-trained rising star Jamie Keeble to lead refreshed Chef’s Table

A new chapter for Chef’s Table

Yorkshire’s Swinton Park Hotel, set amidst the lakes, woodland and gardens of the 20,000-acre Swinton Estate near Masham, is delighted to announce the appointment of Jamie Keeble as Head Chef of the refreshed Chef’s Table at Swinton. Keeble, formerly of Michelin-starred Mýse and recognised as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging culinary talents, will join the estate in September 2026 ahead of the Chef’s Table opening from 1 October 2026, when guests will be able to book.

Located within the historic Coach House and proudly featured in the world-renowned Michelin Guide, the Chef’s Table has made a name for itself by delivering diners an exclusive, interactive and immersive culinary experience, underpinned by Swinton Estate’s estate-to-plate philosophy. The intimate restaurant is rooted in a deep respect for provenance and seasonality, inviting just 12 guests at a time to engage with thoughtful, sustainable gastronomy at its finest.

Keeble will specialise in using seasonal ingredients at their peak, focusing on sustainability, freshness and restrained techniques that allow the produce to take centre stage. Ingredients will be sourced from across the estate, including the adjacent walled garden, alongside carefully selected produce from trusted local suppliers throughout Yorkshire.

Jamie’s passion for food began in childhood, cooking and baking with his mother. He went on to study professional cookery before securing his first kitchen role at Sheffield Wednesday F.C. From there, he joined Lords of the Manor, a Michelin-starred hotel restaurant in the Cotswolds, where he learned the art of technical cookery and fine dining.

He continued to hone his skills at the acclaimed restaurant with rooms Ynyshir in Wales, before joining the opening team of Mýse in 2023 alongside founders Joshua and Victoria Overington. In February 2026, Keeble was spotlighted as a future star in hospitality, selected for the National Restaurant Awards Rising Stars Class of 2026 and winning the Rising Star Award in the chef category. He also appeared in Series 21 of the BBC’s Great British Menu.

“Joining Swinton Estate is an incredible opportunity. The connection between the estate, the walled garden and the kitchen provides an outstanding platform to create a dining experience that is personal, memorable and rooted in the seasons. My cooking celebrates modern British food, inspired by memories, tradition and the exceptional produce we have here in Yorkshire – whether that’s using produce from our kitchen garden, tenant farmers or local Yorkshire suppliers. I’m looking forward to joining the team in September and putting my mark on Chef’s Table – I’m excited to see what we can achieve; along with welcoming our first guests from October.”
— Jamie Keeble

“Jamie is one of the most talented young chefs working in Britain today. His experience at some of the country’s most respected kitchens, including Michelin-starred Mýse, together with his creativity, technical ability and genuine passion for seasonal British produce, make him the perfect person to lead the next chapter of the Chef’s Table. We are thrilled to welcome him to Swinton and excited to see his vision come to life from October.”
— Steve Darou, Executive Head Chef, Swinton Estate

The appointment follows the recent arrival of Steve Darou as Executive Head Chef at Swinton Estate, after his role as Group Head Chef at St. John restaurants in London. Together, Darou and Keeble will continue to strengthen Swinton’s reputation as one of the UK’s leading estate-to-plate dining destinations. Keeble succeeds former Chef’s Table Head Chef Josh Barnes.
