We are delighted to announce that Tom Henderson will be assuming the role of Restaurant Manager at our intimate fine dining restaurant, Chef’s Table by Josh Barnes.
Located within the Estate’s acclaimed Cookery School, and proudly highlighted in the world-renowned Michelin Guide, Chef’s Table by Josh Barnes offers diners an exclusive, interactive and immersive culinary experience that celebrates flavour and technique at the highest level.
With over 20 years of experience in hospitality – and more than half a decade at Swinton Park Hotel – Tom possesses an intimate understanding of both the property and its guests. In addition to his deep industry expertise, he brings a distinguished background in wine, notably his tenure as Head Sommelier at Grantley Hall. Drawing on this exceptional knowledge, Tom, in his role as Restaurant Manager, will elevate the Chef’s Table experience, enhancing the sophistication and precision of its wine pairings.
Tom says of the appointment: “I am thrilled to take on this new role and bring my own personality to the guest experience. Food and wine have always been my great passions, and I’m excited to draw on my wine knowledge to elevate the pairings we offer. I’m particularly looking forward to the unique experience that is Chef’s Table – with only 12 covers, it’s such an intimate setting where guests enjoy direct access to Josh and his incredible culinary insight. Having the opportunity to truly engage with guests, provide exceptional service, and share my knowledge in such a personal environment is something I find tremendously exciting.”
