Swinton Estate welcomes new Head of Commercial and Business Development

Swinton Estate is delighted to announce that Tracey Ractliffe has been appointed in the new role of Head of Commercial and Business Development.

In the role, Tracey will lead a team of 10; overseeing marketing, sales, events and reservations for the Estate as well as working closely with Paul Hunter, our general manager, Iain Shelton, our chief executive, and other members of the senior leadership team.

Prior to this Tracey has held roles including leading sales teams for Principal Hotels, Crowne Plaza, Menzies Hotels and being part of the launch team for the Bovey Castle Hotel and Spa in Dartmoor. Her most recent position was Commercial Director at Grantly Hall.

Tracey Ractcliffe said: “Whilst hospitality has run through my veins throughout my career, sustainability and environmental impact has been a subject close to my heart for a long time.  When this role came up for the Swinton Estate, which is leading the way in sustainability across the industry, I jumped at the opportunity.”

“The vast array of different aspects to the business – from fine dining and well-being to carbon trading and developing new sustainable techniques for land management – is hugely exciting to get my teeth into.”
