Swinton Estate welcomes new Head of Sales

We are delighted to announce that Zoe Pickering has joined the Swinton team as our new Head of Sales.

Zoe is looking forward to building on the Estate’s reputation as one of Yorkshire’s most distinctive destinations for meetings and events, elevating Swinton’s presence within the MICE market by showcasing the breadth and flexibility of the wider Estate.

Zoe Pickering brings over a decade of experience in hospitality sales, with a strong track record in the MICE sector and a particular focus on country house venues. Throughout her career, she has developed and implemented successful sales strategies across the corporate, agency, and event markets, consistently driving growth in meetings and event business. Zoe has worked closely with a wide range of clients, from global corporates to boutique agencies, building long-standing relationships and delivering bespoke solutions for conferences, retreats, incentives, and private functions. She is known for her commercial acumen, personal approach, and deep understanding of how to create event experiences that resonate and deliver results.

Zoe is especially passionate about championing Swinton Estate’s sustainability journey, ensuring it resonates with modern event planners and corporate partners alike. With extensive experience and a strong understanding of what makes events truly successful, she is focused on driving new business, strengthening client partnerships, and cementing Swinton Estate’s position as a leading destination for purposeful, high-impact events.

Here at Swinton Estate, we understand that business meetings and events take many forms. From small, ‘blue-sky thinking’ groups and team get-togethers; through to year-end meetings, budget planning, annual general meetings, board meetings conferences or team building events. We are very happy to facilitate any meeting across any venue on the Swinton Estate – from moorland bothy, parkland deer house, contemporary arnagill room, tipi, spa garden, private island lake house, the old gardener’s office private workspace; through to more traditional environments of the opulent library or panelled room at Swinton Park – and anywhere in between!
