Relax on the Swinton Estate

    The spa is a beautiful setting in the walled garden and has a wonderful range of facilities, with an 18 metre swimming pool, natural outdoor pool and alfresco hot tub. For deep heat and relaxation we have foot spas and four steam and sauna experiences with relaxation loungers overlooking the spa terrace.

    The Treatment Suite is a haven of tranquillity and calm with lavishly appointed treatment rooms and three relaxation rooms for those who want to relax, slumber or sleep (on heated water beds!).

  • 'Sleep Better' Package

    'Sleep is one of the essential pillars of wellness'

    A Sleep Better package created to aid restful sleep throughout your stay at Swinton Park or in a Swinton Cottage. Your luxurious bed will be made with wellness bedding to help with regenerative sleep, lined with sheep's wool that has been shown to regulate the body's temperature and moisture. Herbal 'Mind Restore' tea bags will be available for hydration and to unwind, alongside the in-room tea and coffee facilities. A gift will be left in your room to aid a good night's sleep, which includes a sleep well kit, Bamford pillow mist and Bamford bath salts, as well as a Sleep Better guide. In the morning, when you awake refreshed, breakfast will be served in your room.

Soak up the benefits of the woodland setting in a mindful way, which can reduce stress levels, balance mood disorders and improve your sense of wellbeing.

  • Walking on the Swinton Estate

    We have 20,000 acres of beautiful countryside to explore at Swinton Estate, a true walker's paradise. Choose from a walk through the parkland and gardens of Swinton Park, taking in the lakes and walled garden, as well as walking alongside the Deer Park, home to 200 Fallow Deer. Or explore the 63 miles of public footpaths on the wider Estate, including around Druid's Temple at Swinton Bivouac or a walk which takes in the Bothy Hut for a picnic.

  • Bivouac Wellness Retreat

    A two night wellness retreat, staying in a hand built, off-grid, wooden tree lodge, in a woodland setting on the edge of the moors at Swinton Bivouac. Unplug and unwind, find space to clear your mind, relax, recuperate and recharge your own energy with sound baths, mindfulness forest walks and reiki drumming around the campfire.
    Access to the award winning Swinton Country Club & Spa is also included.

    Walking barefoot can restore your natural walking pattern and foot position, which leads to better mechanics of the knee, hips and core and improvements in balance. Our barefoot path is available in the spa gardens for you to use if you’re a resident, spa guest or have purchased a parkland and gardens pass.

  • Woodland Hammocks

    Relax in our hammocks, situated among the trees of our Woodland Wellbeing Space. This is a tranquil space designed to help you unwind and absorb the natural sights and sounds. ‘Wellness packs’, including a woollen blanket and hot water bottle to keep you warm, are also available from the Estate Shop, for a small refundable deposit

    This space is available for members, spa day guests and residents to take time out and discover their wellbeing. If you’re visiting for the day or want the option to ‘drop in’ whenever you’re next in the area, a Parkland and Gardens Pass can be purchased from the Swinton Country Club & Spa reception.

  • Golf

    Located just a mile away from Swinton Park is the beautiful Masham Golf Club, a 9 hole parkland golf course. Welcoming to both members and visitors.

    The course itself measures 6204 yards from the white tees, and is made up of sloping greens, elevated areas, undulating fairways, and stunning views from every tee. The on-site friendly clubhouse serves delicious meals as well as coffee and a fully licenced bar.
