Swinton Bivouac is located 4 miles from the Swinton Park Hotel, within the majestic 20,000-acre Swinton Estate. The site can be hired exclusively creating a unique party venue with on-site accommodation in the Tree Lodges and Meadow Yurts. The adjacent Bivouac Cafe can be hired as part of your event too providing additional indoor space ideal for late night gatherings and dancing.

Tipi

The Tipi is comprised of two adjoining tents offering a relaxed space for events for up to 80 guests. Hessian floor coverings with colourful rugs, wooden benches and tables with sheepskin throws are included in our event packages ready for our guests to enjoy the delicious food and drink options which can be served. With outdoor seating and grassy areas adjacent to the Tipi there is plenty of family friendly space for guests of all ages to enjoy.

Exclusive Hire

A large party of up to 76 guests can enjoy the whole of Swinton Bivouac, taking advantage of the Meadow Yurts, Tree Lodges and The Loft, with full access to the Bivouac Café, barbeque areas, Meadow Tipi and firepit, our woodland sauna and woodfired hot tubs.

For smaller groups, our Tree Lodges can accommodate up to 42 guests, Meadow Yurts up to 28 guests and The Loft up to six guests.

Bivouac Café

The quirky, onsite, fully licensed, watering hole at Swinton Bivouac is ideal for a relaxed lunch party, drinks party or post wedding ‘disco’ venue, outdoor space affording spectacular views.

Accomodation

Our gorgeous, secluded Tree Lodges are tucked away in woodland just a five-minute walk from the Bivouac Café, offering a truly rustic, back-to-nature escape.

Set within a wildflower meadow, our Meadow Yurts provide the classic glamping experience, with stunning views across the Swinton Estate and the wider Yorkshire Dales. Perfect for unwinding under the stars, each yurt is a cosy, Mongolian-inspired retreat.

For those seeking a little extra luxury, our Cabin Yurts combine the charm of a Meadow Yurt with an adjoining wooden bedroom cabin, offering added comfort, privacy and space while keeping you close to nature.
