A traditional country house feel, bathed in opulence and sleeping up to 10 guests. Perfect for families and friends, Swinton Grange is a sumptuous retreat with an open-plan living/kitchen area, opulent dining room, den and utility room.

Upstairs affords an en-suite double room, two twin/double room rooms and a single room with pull-out bed. Downstairs offers a double sofa bed in a private ground floor room. Swinton Grange has beautiful country gardens with wildflower lawns, gorgeous fire-pit area, wood-fired hot tub, miniature football pitch and sunken garden trampoline.

Sitting Room

Swinton Grange’s open plan sitting room and kitchen is the perfect hub for entertaining, with French windows leading out into the garden. The Sitting Room is a comfortable seating area with stunning country views overlooking the Deer Park at Swinton Park. Three sofas direct attention towards the open wood fire or the TV above.

Kitchen

The Kitchen is fully equipped with the usual appliances and cooking utensils, making your stay as hassle free as possible. A kitchen island high stools is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine, while watching the chef in your party preparing supper!

Dining Room

The Dining Room is a cosy space, ideal for a formal dinner for up to 8 people. The fabulous table takes centre-stage, with striking high backed chairs giving a vibrant feel.

Bedrooms

The four bedrooms sleep up to 10 people. Upstairs affords an en-suite double room, two twin/double room rooms and a single room with pull-out bed. Downstairs offers a double sofa bed in a private ground floor room.

Bathroom

A family bathroom with views of the Yorkshire hills, equipped with a shower over the bath, hand basin and WC.

Exterior

The gardens afford plenty of outdoor space, with trees, meadowed grass areas, wood fired hot tub, garden trampoline and football goal posts. Directly outside the cottage is a wonderful patio area and pergola, equipped with beautiful garden furniture. A fire pit sits in the centre of the garden, surrounded by benched seating, for cosy evenings around the fire.

Are dogs allowed to stay at Swinton Cottages?

Yes, dogs are welcome on the Swinton Estate. Your companion can join your overnight stay at Swinton Park Hotel, Swinton Bivouac and in the Swinton Cottages. A charge is required for each dog.
