Join us for a fun-filled day learning how to make your own wedding flowers.
If you’re looking for a simple and affordable way to decorate your wedding venue, our workshop hosted by Felicity Cook of Briar House Flowers is perfect for you.
During the workshop, we’ll teach you how to choose seasonal flowers, decide how many flowers to order, and where to order them from.
You’ll learn how to create beautiful flower posies in pretty bottles and jars, make simple garlands as table runners, and use candles and tea lights to great effect.
We’ll also show you how to make simple buttonholes, headdresses, small bouquets, and pretty posies for chairs to line your aisle.
All you need to bring is a pair of secateurs, if you have a favorite pair, and three different sized small glass bottles or jam jars which we can decorate with hessian and lace. Otherwise, we’ll provide everything else.
Join us for a day of creativity and fun, and learn how to create stunning flower arrangements yourself.
Itinerary
9.45 am – Arrive at the Deer House where tea, coffee and biscuits will be served.
10.00 am – Workshop to commence.
1.00 pm – Two-course lunch.
3.00 pm – Estimated finishing time.
Followed by optional two-hour spa access add on.
