We love a party here at Swinton Estate, and hosting is definitely our thing. Get together over fond memories and start making new ones on our stunning Estate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Swinton Estate is home to fabulously unique venues, from the opulent Swinton Park to the boho Tipi at Swinton Bivouac, and from the rural Deer House with stunning views to the remote Bothy Hut for a cosy getaway.
Tipi at Swinton Bivouac
The Tipi is a fully furnished venue, but providing a blank canvas to create your own personal event, stamped with your personal style.
The Deer House
The Deer House is a unique, rural venue set on the Swinton Estate in the heart of North Yorkshire. A wonderful setting for a Deer House wedding, rural family get-together or a motivational location for corporate away days.
Bothy Huts
We have several Bothy Huts on the Swinton Estate. Traditionally used to provide respite from inclement weather for those high on the moors, they are perfect ‘off the beaten track’ boltholes.
With unspoilt, sweeping views across the more beautiful landscape, our Bothy Huts can accommodate a planned picnic stop-off, fires lit and tables laid; or a truly unique proposal location or picnic lunch party.
Lake House
Lake Island on Top Lake, a short walk from Coffin Pond and Quarry Gill in the parkland, is a private retreat. Here you can hold an exclusive celebration or private event. Take a hand-drawn cable ferry across to your own private kingdom, complete with a miniature Georgian-style summerhouse.
Spa Garden
The Spa Gardens are nestled between The Terrace Restaurant and Bar and the Country Club, with views across the four acre Walled Garden and sitting beneath a fabulous ‘sail’ canopy.
The perfect space for an ‘alfresco’ wedding, party or any celebration; or as a unique business meeting setting or for product launch.
Private dining venues
Private dining on the Swinton Estate offers unrivalled opportunity. From a picnic at the Lake House on your own private island, a family lunch in the Arnagill at The Terrace Restaurant and Bar, a lavish celebratory dinner in the Library; to an intimate Chef’s Table in the Cookery School or ‘alfresco’ dining experience at the Deer House.
