Swinton Estate is home to a selection of fabulously unique locations; from the 18th century Swinton Park Hotel boasting traditionally elegant spaces with grand original features to the boho Tipi and woodland setting at Swinton Bivouac, from the rustic Deer House with stunning views of the parkland and an abundance of outdoor space to the contemporary Mediterranean inspired Terrace Restaurant and tiered gardens which is a beautiful setting for a summer event.
Swinton Park Hotel
Choose the Castle for your special event and enjoy a stately home style experience combining 18th century grandeur with modern levels of comfort and service.
The Deer House
The Deer House is a rustic long barn which has been converted into a modern, custom designed event space. Located in the Deer Park, the Deer House offers wonderful views across the Parkland to Home Lake and the Castle, and boasts extensive outdoor space to enhance any event.
Swinton Bivouac
Set on a hilltop with sweeping views of the Yorkshire countryside the Swinton Bivouac offers event guests a festival style setting combining nature with on-site accommodation and both indoor and outdoor event spaces.
Private dining venues
Private dining on the Swinton Estate offers unrivalled opportunity. From a picnic at the Lake House on your own private island, a family lunch in the Arnagill at The Terrace Restaurant and Bar, a lavish celebratory dinner in the Library; to an intimate Chef’s Table in the Cookery School or ‘alfresco’ dining experience at the Deer House.

Boasting 20,000 acres of glorious Yorkshire countryside we are spoilt for choice when looking at outdoor spaces for events. Whilst we can’t always guarantee the weather we can guarantee a stunnign backdrop and oddles of fresh air!

Swinton Park Hotel is available for private hire events. You and your guests will have full use of the Castle’s magnificent spaces including all 42 spacious bedrooms, the expansive ground floor public areas and the immediate grounds to hold any outdoor receptions or activities required. The entire hotel team will be focussed solely on your requirements with menus curated for your enjoyment and a choice of dining venues to ensure delicious choices for your party.
Exclusive use can come in several formats and does not include private use of the Country Club during your event. Our team will be delighted to provide more details for this option.
